Charles Manson Get His Marriage License at Age 80

Charles Manson’s name is well known by most people in America, though some of the younger generation may be unaware of the scope of his infamy. In the late 1960s, Manson was the leader of a group that became known as “The Manson Family,” which was responsible for several murders. Reported to be highly charismatic, Manson is believed to have coerced several members of his “family” to commit murder, and he was arrested in 1971 for conspiracy to commit 7 murders. Manson believed that these murders would help bring about a race war, an apocalyptic violence he referred to as Helter Skelter.

Manson has been incarcerated since 1971, and now, at the age of 80, he has obtained his marriage license. He is expected to be married to 26 year old Afton Elaine Burton, who goes by the name of Star and is originally from the Midwest.
