Dealing With Loss – Gone But Not Forgotten

At some point in our lives, we all must deal with loss. Loss that leaves a gaping hole in your heart, aching for one more moment with a beloved person or pet. Loss is one of the hardest emotional tolls a human can experience, and it is often met with denial, anger, grief, acceptance, or a variety of other emotions. Some of us deal with loss by sheltering and isolating ourselves for a time, but in the end, everyone needs to be heard and understood. It is necessary for a person to feel loved and listened to in hard times, as we all reach out for companionship eventually. Sometimes, just listening or talking to other people can make the feeling of loss hurt just a little bit less.
