Winter is nearing its end, at least officially. March 20th marks the beginning of spring, although depending on where you live, you might have a lot more winter weather left. For others, winter might have been a big deal.
This year however, things have been pretty intense. There have been multiple winter storms that have hit the Midwest and the eastern seaboard bringing tons of snow and blizzards. It can get pretty depressing seeing all of the snow and not seeing so much of the sun. With that in mind we thought we’d share some great motivational quotes with you this week so you can keep your spirits high and your willpower high as well.
Seth Godin speaking to the talent and power we have as individuals, “You have everything you need to build something far bigger than yourself.”
Jim Rohn reminding us why it’s important to stay healthy,”Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.”
A great one from The Book of Proverbs, “If you can’t control your anger, you are as helpless as a city without walls waiting to be attacked.”
Dale Carnegie on one very simple perspective of success and happiness that is very powerful, “Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get.”
Og Mandino reminding us that we can’t have success without challenges, “Obstacles are necessary for success because in selling, as in all careers of importance, victory comes only after many struggles and countless defeats.”
A very powerful quote from Harvey Mackay about what kind of person we can all strive to be, “A mediocre person tells. A good person explains. A superior person demonstrates. A great person inspires others to see for themselves.”
Hopefully those quotes have picked up your willpower and set you in the right direction for today and the future. It’s always nice to read inspiring quotes from time to time, especially when things are dark, gloomy, and cold during the winter season.
