Remembering Margaret Thatcher

On April 8th, the United Kingdom lost one of the most important politicians in its history: Margaret Thatcher. There are very few people who are well-remembered for making a difference in the world and she is one of those few people.

As the United Kingdom and the rest of the western world remembers Margaret Thatcher, they remember much of what she accomplished while in office. She served for eleven years and fought communism, reformed the United Kingdom, fought a war over the Falkland Islands, and created a legacy that will be studied and remembered for years.
