Everyone strives for happiness, and we all deserve it. Some people search their whole lives looking for the one thing that will make them happy. But, it is helpful to know that happiness cannot be achieved by buying things or changing things. Happiness is derived from our perception on the world and how we choose to view events in our lives.
What makes one person happy may go unnoticed by another. It is important to open your mind and let the smaller things in your life make you happy. If you can find joy in the little things, it is much easier to improve your perception, and in turn your overall happiness. Whether it’s a sunny flower growing on a roadside or making someone else smile, take time to seek out the small everyday occurrences that make you happy, and more will surely come your way.

-Jon Bon Jovi
Studies have shown that 90% of error in thinking is due to error in perception. If you can change
your perception, you can change your emotion and this can lead to new ideas.
-Edward de Bono

Happiness is a direction, not a place.
