Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 has been a constant topic for the media over the past few weeks. There are hundreds of theories about what really happened aboard the plane and why it went missing. Many of these theories are so far off that it’s surprising they get as much attention as they do. Others make plenty of sense.
Developments in the search for the plane have been painstakingly slow. It seems as if the world (or at least he media) is waiting for that first shred of evidence so we can finally get some answers.

Larry King tweeted this comical message on March 19th: “There are 2 guarantees in life: 1 – cable news will keep covering the #malaysian flight & 2 – there will be a movie about a missing airline.”
Mike McCaul had this conspiracy theory in mind: “It could have landed somewhere, [been] filled with explosives and then sent somewhere else to cause some great damage.”
Fellow Rep. Loretta Sanchez simply stated this in response to Mike McCaul’s above statement: “I think that’s pretty far-fetched. Michael has a great imagination.”
Even Rupert Murdoch chimed in tweeting: “777. Still think this a reminder that US and China should be working more closely on Muslim extremist threat.”
Retired Lt. General Tom McInerney said what many of us are thinking: “I know the U.S. government knows a lot more than they’re talking about. And clearly, the NSA has a lot of data they’re going through now. … I’m confident that the U.S. government has a much better picture than the Malaysian government and the Chinese government.”
